Even minus the 18th century ruffles and Charles Spaniels, a painting of Junior dressed in his Sunday best is not exactly an accurate depiction of his personality at age two. Babyface, the brainchild of Brooklyn-based artist and mom Tami Cohn, offers a modern take on the ultimate classical keepsake. Cohn, who, after experiences ranging from set and scenery design for such major motion pictures and
TV shows as The Royal Tannenbaums, Angels in America and Saturday Night Live, to portrait painting in Southern India,
decided to focus her creative energies on children's portraiture.
