A lovingly hand painted, Babyface portrait captures the personality as well as the likeness of a child. I always include the hands because they are so expressive, not to mention just plain cute. These paintings resonate with children and adults alike. They create a presence that reflects the innocence and joy of childhood. They will only be cherished more dearly as time passes on.

My studio is located in Brooklyn NY. I received a BA from Hampshire College and studied painting at The NYC Academy of Art, and the New York Studio School. My work has been shown at the Spring Street Drawing Studio, Brooklyn Working Artist Coalition, and Sideshow Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Before becoming a mother, I worked as a scenic artist, painting portraits, backdrops, and scenery for various major motion pictures and TV shows like The Royal Tannenbaums, Angels in America, Empire Falls, Saturday Night Live, and Hope and Faith. 2 girls I traveled in southern India painting portraits and spent many years painting and drawing portraits from life.

I’d like to introduce Siobhan O’Neill, my business partner and dear friend. We met in a Brooklyn based birthing class. Before motherhood, Siobhan worked as a theatrical booking agent for National Tours. She brings a tremendous enthusiasm and professionalism to this business. We look forward to working with you.
